WBCCI Europe

Welcome to the website of the European part of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International

The Wally Byam Airstream Club

The WBCCI offers fun, fellowship and adventure for owners of Airstream and Airstream Argosy travel trailers and motorhomes.  Founded in 1955, the WBCCI has touched the lives of Airstream owners for over sixty years and continues in the spirit of Wally Byam, inventor of the Airstream, who introduced glamour and comfort to trailer touring.

The Club is organised into Regions with many local clubs throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. These local clubs are independent organisations, varying in size from 15 to 300 members. They comply with the WBCCI rules but have their own bylaws, constitution, elected officers and dues.

Rally2

The WBCCI is dedicated to fostering friendships and a passion for travel through a common interest in the Airstream lifestyle and offers caravans, rallies and activities.

Europe

There are hundreds of Airstream owners in Europe now and there are dealerships and specialist companies in many countries. WBCCI Europe was formed in 2015 as part of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International. It is a new part of the club and it is growing quickly across the continent.

Already we have a diverse group of members, ranging in age from their 30s to their 70s. A few are retired full-timers but most are a mix of young enthusiasts from a wide range of backgrounds. Most are experienced Airstreamers, helping with questions and problems, and sharing their experiences of travel throughout Europe.

We organise rallies and caravans as well as sharing fun, food, travel, advice and support with owners of iconic Airstreams, new and vintage, the most recognisable travel trailer in the world.  Click here to view the photo gallery.

The biggest assets in the Airsteam community are the people who own them and socialising with them is very easy and fun. Joining WBCCI Europe is the key to participating in the ethos that makes the Airstream International Club unique in the world.

What’s in a number?

Those iconic Big Red Numbers you see prominently displayed on the front and back of Airstreams mark a long tradition of identifying trailers and families in the WBCCI.   Airstreamers wear them with pride. They enhance the iconic look of your trailer, form a strong link between the many old and new trailer designs and have symbolised the open friendship between members for over 60 years.
